Budget Measures

“Budget 2018 is about laying the foundation for our nation’s development in the next decade. We must prepare for three major shifts in the coming decade. They are the shift in global economic weight towards Asia, accompanied by broader shifts in the global order; emergence of new technologies and ageing. The Budget will seek to support our transformation into a vibrant and innovative economy, build a smart, green and liveable city, further our collective efforts to foster a caring and cohesive society, and lay out plans for our expenditures and revenues in the next decade, to ensure a fiscally sustainable and secure future for Singapore.”

Heng Swee Keat
Minister for Finance, Singapore
